That's how I have been installing all my software on the Macbook Air. I created a network using WiFi and shared the DVD drive of my laptop. Not sure if I could to that to install Windows as well.

If i'm right, MBA allows you to 'borrow' another computer's optical drive n use it as if it were its own. at least thats what steve demo'ed while launching MBA a few yrs back

I returned from NY to Thiruvananthapuram . Started off at 11.PM on 21st Aug from NY came to Abu Dhabi after 14 hours, changed flights and travelled another 4 hours and landed at 3,20AM on 23rd Aug at Trivandrum. Today is 25th and I still feel tired. Age (56) and diabetes has not helped either.

Where was I on 22nd August? I guess Abudhabi. If its Tuesday it must be Norway---

Taking your kids around India and getting them to know the various cultures is the best a father can do.. Coz India is so inspiring... So many people have been overcome with passion and patriotism for their motherland with these kinda Indian trips... u r thinking in the right way...!

I believe, that was a piece of fried bread fruit. I don't know for sure. I'm not a big vegetarian.

One of my favorite Indian non-veg dishes is Chicken Kolhapuri. Many years ago I was driving from Goa to Pune and stopped at Kolhapur for lunch. I did two things there: (1) bought Kolhapuri slippers, and (2) had Chicken Kolhapuri.

I tell you, the damn thing was so hot, it took out a few layers of inner lining of my stomach. I hope to do that once again. ;-)

You might have heard of Kolhapuri dishes(both veg and non-veg) in many restaurants, almost across all parts of India.
